The PoolLab® 1.0 Photometer from WATER-I.D. is the perfect solution for professional analysis of private pools, hot tubs and spas. This triple wavelength photometer, developed in Germany, provides quick and accurate results.

Tests water reliably and quickly for 13 elements: Active Oxygen (MPS), Alkalinity (acid capacity), Bromine, Total & Free Chlorine (Combined Chlorine can be calculated), Cyanuric Acid (stabilizer), Chlorine Dioxide, Hydrogen Peroxide (low range + high range), Calcium hardness, Total Hardness, Ozone, pH, Urea and PHMB (Polyhexamethylbiguanide).

The water tester comes with free software to use in your PC and Mac and an app for Android and iOS. There is also a free cloud service to help you harmonize data between your computer and smartphone. You can easily access your test results stored in the cloud system with ease.

To carry out a test, simply:

  1. Hold in the pool to collect water sample in the small water sample container which is on top of the photometer,
  2. Put on the lightshield and zero the photometer
  3. Dissolve the reagent tablet into the water sample (tablets separately available, see table below) and choose your test,
  4. Wait and read the test result on the photometer,
  5. Clean the cell where the sample is held.

The in-built cuvette (the small water sample container) can be changed, if necessary.

Compatibility:
  • Software: for Windows versions 7 or later, Bluetooth just available with Windows 10; MacOs: 10.11+ (El Capitan)
  • PoolLab app is supported on Android 4.4.1 and higher. Older versions or smartphones without suitable Bluetooth environment are not supported.
Please note:
  • Urea reagent POL2Urea2 must be stored at 4°C – 8°C and the sample must be measured at 20°C – 30°C water temperature.
  • The following parameters can be tested in saltwater: active oxygen, alkalinity, bromine, chlorine, cyanuric acid, calcium hardness, ozone, pH, hydrogen peroxide (a manual correction for the measurement of pH of saltwater is required, more information is available).
  • Not suitable for sea water, only saltwater pools etc.
  • Interference: alkalinity values below 40 mg/l and a turbid solution interfere with the pH measurement.

International Delivery provided by:

  • International Courier Delivery – Depending on the order value this is a fully tracked service and can take up to 1 week (depending on the destination country).

I have not received my order what do I do?

If you have not received your goods after 14 working days, then please contact us and we will chase your delivery. The quickest way is to contact the team by email (quoting your order number and contact details) or call us on +44 (0) 1933 664746 (Monday to Friday 9am – 5.00pm). It is out of our control if delivery gets delayed due to postal strikes or natural disasters, however we will do our best to help solve any problems with lost items.
